Petals & Smoke

It opens bright and slightly sharp — grapefruit, cracked cardamom, a whisper of pear over pink peppercorn. Clean, almost cool, the way a room smells right after the windows have been opened.

Then the flowers come. Jasmine and tuberose, magnolia and orange blossom — soft, unhurried, the kind of white floral that fills a space without ever raising its voice. This is the part people notice first and struggle to name.

And then it turns. Tonka and sandalwood settle in, olibanum and warm smoked leather rise up through the petals, and what began as something delicate ends as something with weight. Hours later, on skin, it is still there — quieter, warmer, closer.
